GimmeTheSauce

Connector privacy policy

David Attias operates the GimmeTheSauce directory connector. This policy covers requests to the public MCP endpoint at /mcp/directory.

What reaches Sauce

Your assistant sends the tool name and the search fields it chooses, such as a founder name, public product, topic and result limit. The server searches the Sauce library and returns public source notes. A session does not require an account. Use a short public topic and leave out credentials, personal information and private business figures.

Processing and retention

Sauce processes the request in memory. The connector does not save the query or result in an application database or intentionally log its contents. The application records aggregate usage by tool name and connection type with Vercel Web Analytics. It does not send tool arguments to analytics or an AI provider.

Vercel hosts the endpoint and processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request timing, under its own infrastructure and log retention settings. Your assistant provider handles the conversation and its copy of tool results under its own privacy settings. Browser visits to the Sauce website are covered by the website data guide.

Your indie-hacker Shark Tank.

Build and grow your mobile app or SaaS. Bring AI founder personas into one chat to brainstorm, challenge ideas and give feedback grounded in their documented experiences.

What are you building?

Add your mobile app, SaaS or idea so mentors can tailor their advice. Save a description, audience and goals, plus an optional website or mobile store listing.

Optional. You can also add it later from My products in any chat.

One question. Several perspectives. Type @ or choose Invite mentors to bring several mentors into the conversation. Start with three, then add more when you want a broader take. Each speaks from their own research; you decide what to try.

What would you like to work on?

Try asking Marc Louvion

“How would you find the first 10 customers for my product?”

Apple’s official guidelines inform advice about your App Store app, its paywall, onboarding, store listing and marketing claims, across all personas. Checked before those replies, with a dated warning if the check fails. This helps flag risks; it cannot guarantee approval or protect an account from termination.

Independent AI personas, not the real people or official company representatives. Answers can be wrong. Upload pictures or videos, or dictate a question, and keep separate chats under each persona.
